1. Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must accept these terms for you.
2. Your licence
- We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the game on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment.
- The game is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors keep all rights in the game, including its code, art, levels, sound, text and the name "Shred Out". Open-source components are listed under Settings > Licences in the game, and their own licences apply to them.
- You may not copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer, sell, rent or sublicense the game, or use it to build another product, except where the law allows it despite this restriction.
- If you got the game from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If you got it from Google Play, Google Play's terms also apply. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms.
3. Virtual items
- The game includes virtual items such as coins, lives, boosters and event rewards. They are a limited licence to use features of the game: they are not money or property and have no cash value.
- Virtual items cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value outside the game, and cannot be sold, traded or transferred.
- We may change, limit or remove virtual items, and correct balances affected by bugs or cheating.
- If we offer purchases, they are final, except where the law requires otherwise.
- Some events, such as Lake Hop, show other players simulated by the game. They are not real people.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- cheat, use bots, scripts or modified versions of the game, or exploit bugs;
- interfere with or disrupt the services, or try to get unauthorised access to them;
- impersonate anyone;
- use the services in any way that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights.
We may suspend or end your access to the services if you break these terms.
5. The game is provided as is
The services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, and we do not promise that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with your device, or that progress or virtual items will not be lost.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, progress or virtual items, and our total liability to you for any claim relating to the services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Changes to the game and to these terms
We may change, suspend or end the game or any part of it at any time. We may also update these terms; we will post the new version here and change the effective date. If you keep using the services after a change, the new terms apply.
8. Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of İstanbul have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory law where you live provides otherwise.
9. General
If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a right at once, we have not waived it. We may transfer our rights under these terms, for example if the game is sold. These terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the services.
